You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Office of the Deputy Under of OFF OF THE UNDER SECRETARY OF THE NAVY.

Duties

You will assist in coordinating and monitoring DON policies and plans related to DoD strategic guidance for nuclear weapons policy, Artic policy, maritime security cooperation, naval force planning, readiness, and associated processes. You will prepare reports and presentations containing recommendations on implications for future policies, force structure, posture and fleet design. You will represent the Director for Policy in understanding the capabilities, requirements and force structure necessary to support the policy and strategic posture for the Navy. You will identify and understand major political, economic, technical, and military trends to develop policies to support future naval operational capabilities.

• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
