This position is located in the Asset Forfeiture Division (AFD)/ Arlington, VA. The selectee of this position serves as the Program Manager of the Business Integration Center (BIC) for the AFD and is responsible for the administration of a broad range of management services including strategic planning, internal controls, financial statement audits, policy and procedure governance, training programs, performance and program evaluation, and systems and technology.

Duties

As a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst at the GS-0343-15 grade level, some of your typical work assignments may include, but are not limited to, the following: Balancing workload for government personnel and assigning daily tasks to contract personnel. Evaluating the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of business practices, processes, procedures, and policies. Planning, organizing, and overseeing financial audits of asset forfeiture programs at the district and headquarters level. Maintaining statistical databases, asset tracking systems, and web-based collaborative platforms. Managing the asset forfeiture training program curriculum and budget. Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable determination of suitability for a Public Trust position.
  • May be required to successfully complete a trial/probationary period.
  • May be required to successfully complete a supervisory probation period.
  • Status Candidates must meet time-in-grade requirements (52 weeks at the next lower grade level).

Qualifications

TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit Promotion and Veterans Employment Opportunity Act (VEOA) Status applicants must provide an SF50 Notice of Personnel Action that indicates proof of status and time-in-grade eligibility. The SF50 must include the position, title, series, grade, step, tenure, type of service (Competitive or Excepted) and career status (career or career-conditional). No award SF50 will be accepted as proof of status and time-in-grade eligibility. One year at the GS-14 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-15 grade level. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the education and/or experience required for the grade level(s) to which you apply. To qualify at the GS-15 grade level, you must meet the following: Specialized Experience: Experience that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. You must have at least one year (12 months) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service performing the following duties: Providing administrative, technical, and human resources management supervision to staff members to include but not limited to career development, performance management, and disciplinary; Conducting financial statement audits and organization-wide internal control testing in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards, Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), and/or Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular No. A-123; Recommending new strategies, processes, and business solutions for high-level management officials review and decision making; Identifying asset forfeiture implications in legislation, regulation, policy, and/or procedure for an organization; and Developing short and long-range training plans to meet organization-wide training needs.
