Duties

Estimating tooling requirements, checking/approval of tool designs and special process studies. Plans, reviews, analyzes, and inspects the work of Tool Designers. Reviews work completed by subordinates. Provides advice, counsel, and instruction to accomplish the assigned function. Interviews candidates for vacant positions and recommends selections. Counsels subordinates regarding career potential and opportunities. Makes frequent visits to the production floor to meet with tool makers, machinists, and other subordinates.

  • This position requires a security background investigation.
  • May require a one (1) year supervisory probationary period
