The primary purpose of this position is to independently to perform or assist in a wide variety of administrative and legal duties, as well as duties related to supporting the Board of Trustees. The incumbent will work directly with and supports the Secretary, General Counsel and Associate General Counsels.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet the Qualification Standards Handbook requirements for the GS-0901-15. A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 in the Federal service. For this position, specialized experience is at least one year of experience, equivalent in responsibility to the GS-14 level in the Federal service, overseeing all administrative functions for a private or public law office. Your application and resume must demonstrate that you possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs). Do not provide a separate narrative written statement. Rather, you must show in your resume how your past work experience demonstrates that you possess the KSAs identified below. If asked to do so, cite specific examples of employment or experience contained in your resume and describe how this experience has prepared you to successfully perform the duties of this position. DO NOT write "see resume" in your application! Those applicants who meet the minimum qualification requirements will be evaluated against these factors to determine the best-qualified candidates. 1. Ability to independently perform all administrative functions related to a Board of Trustees activities. 2. Knowledge of administrative processes and methods to effectively operate and streamline activities. 3. Ability to prepare or review correspondence for others. 4. Ability to develop and provide training materials to new trustees.  5.
