About the Position: Serves as the Operations Group staff military personnel management specialist and procedural authority on officer, warrant officer and enlisted military personnel strength management and administration issues for military personnel assigned to Operations Group.

Duties

Responsible for the planning, coordination, reviewing, evaluation, and advisement on officer, warrant officer and enlisted military personnel staffing for assigned TRADOC, Operations Group. Evaluates military personnel strength assignments and utilization. Generates and monitors the monthly Unit Status Report (USR); MSR Pers Tempo Report, provides statistical analysis for assigned subcommands and prioritizes requisitions based on the statistical analysis. Administers all aspects of officer, warrant officer, and enlisted military personnel strength actions processing.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level grade level in the federal service which includes the following. Perform work within Military Personnel Programs such a promotions, orders, pay, leave and all other Military Personnel Functions. Research applicable guidance, laws and regulations about Human Resources questions or problems and assist with implementation of the rules or regulations, answer questions and fix issues. Input information and use Personnel File systems for the organization to enter and update records and research files. OR Education: Have successfully completed a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as Human Resources, Personnel Management. of study). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
