Duties

Prepares detailed plans, budgets, and schedules for assigned programs and/or participates with management in fiscal planning; formulates annual and multi-year budget estimates; responsible for integrating requirements. Assists the organization with programming, analysis, and control of funds; evaluates program funding plans and their execution, identifying actual or potential problem areas. Works closely with Operation Division management in making revisions to budgets based on increases or decreases to funding levels and changes in mission requirements. Completes phased execution plans and budget execution ensuring accuracy, completeness, and conformance with established policy. Verifies, analyzes, and evaluates financial estimates and justification for assigned activities operating budget, including annual funds requests. Investigates reasons for deviations, obtaining additional information as needed. Analysis provides reasons for deviations from projected budget and suggests corrective actions to balance budget. Completes and analyzes monthly financial reports
