Duties

This position is located in the Division of Policy Development (DPD) Group 3.

Requirements

Qualifications

You must have one full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 level. Specialized experience is defined as: experience in leading or supervising teams completing projects dealing with electricity market or policy issues, including performing quantitative or qualitative analysis of such policy issues; and drafting and reviewing orders, memos, or formal recommendations on Regional Transmission Organization (RTO)/Independent System Operator (ISO) wholesale electric tariff issues, non-RTO/ISO wholesale electric tariff issues, transmission planning and cost allocation, or coordination between wholesale natural gas and electric markets.  Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including any volunteer experience.
