About the Position: Serves as a Quality Assurance Specialist performing contractor evaluations and analysis for the Modernization, Displacement and Repair Site (MDRS) Division.

Duties

Perform surveillance of contractor's compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements for Modernization, Displacement and Repair Site (MDRS) in the areas of surveillance, inspections, equipment accountability and quality control. Execute surveillance techniques and procedures as outlined in the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) . Audit quality control programs to ensure conformance with established requirements. Perform duties of small purchase agent under the Government IMPAC credit card program for the Modernization, Displacement and Repair Site (MDRS).

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Incumbent is required to obtain and maintain a valid state driver’s license and any installation and/or DoD license required for the type of vehicle being driven.

OR, Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
