The position supports the mission and objectives of the ASH organization in the Intelligence & Threat Analysis Division, AXE-200.

Duties

Serves as a Day Analyst with responsibilities for the development and coordination of intelligence production, policy support, contingency planning, risk mitigation, community engagement, incident response and analytical training/readiness of division staff members for response to threats to the safety/security to US civil aviation from terrorism, insurgents, criminal organizations, and nation-states. The employee performs multiple, varying, and complex assignments under minimal direction of a manager. The employee applies experience and comprehensive technical knowledge of intelligence operational principles and procedures in an air domain security-related environment. Assignments include:

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-I, FG/GS-13 level. This experience is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.Specialized experience is defined as:Experience in intelligence analysis and production to meet executive leadership and operational planning requirements. ANDExperienced communicator, providing written and verbal assessments for senior leadership, operational planners and/or industry and foreign partners. ANDKnowledge of threats and capabilities of state and non¿state actors posing threats to the transportation sector. ANDSkill in engaging with community partners within the IC, LE, DHS, DoD, and industry and with international entities.You should include relevant examples of the specialized experience in your work history.
