You will serve as a OPSEC PROGRAM SPECIALIST in the OPERATIONS DIRECTORATE (N3) of COMNAVSPECWARDEVGRU.

Duties

You will conduct independent studies, and analysis and evaluation of information from multiple sources, to accomplish research and special projects for short and long-term objectives. You will maintain comprehensive visibility of emerging trends and knowledge of commercial applications for data discovery. You will ensure OPSEC measures are continuously updated in order to adapt to changes in the operational environment and mitigate constantly evolving threats. You will review command policies and programs for possible OPSEC concerns and equities. You will provide pre-deployment/employment OPSEC awareness briefs and products to assigned departmental personnel that is commensurate with their anticipated duties and responsibilities.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

GS-11:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Researching, identifying, analyzing risk to command personnel, equipment, operations AND analyzing/evaluating information from multiple sources to accomplish research projects for short/long term objectives. GS-09:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting with researching, identifying, analyzing risk to command personnel, equipment, operations AND analyzing/evaluating information from multiple sources to accomplish research projects for short/long term objectives.
