You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST (SECURITY) in the Executive Support Staff, Security Office of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 9.28% will be added to the stated salary.

Duties

You will serve as analyst for Shipyard Security programs requiring application of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for assessment of complex processes, systems and mission support programs. You will be responsible for directing, implementing, coordinating, and/or support a variety of major programs impacting Shipyard Security. You will plan and conduct specials studies, provide advice to Department Heads, Supervisors and Program Managers and develop/evaluate policies fo areas of responsibility. You will recommend actions to achieve organizational objectives and recommend future program objectives and improvements. You will provide technical assistance and direct support to Shipyard Security Office management in a variety of matters relating to the application of processes and security programs to meet mission requirements. You will coordinate activities of branch planning methodologies, policies and procedures, evaluating the content of new or modified data and developing short or long term corrective actions for impact on security programs. You will develop, implement and monitor sophisticated management information systems including the Shipyard Consolidated Surveillance Program, Quality Performance Systems and Commitment Tracking System. You will ensure that accurate, appropriately concise and timely information is available to Shipyard management. You will develop policies, issuances and directives for area of assignment, providing oversight and coordinating the identification of analysis of security policy and directives with Code 1120 and branch heads.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing data, reports, tracking policy implementation for programs of a sensitive nature, and offering solutions to improve Security Program effectiveness.
