You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the Program Management Department of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

Duties

You will prepare presentation briefs, justifications, reclamas, and detailed reports to support the program for financial, budgetary, and economic status of assigned programs. You will lead inter- competency teams executing complex projects. You will use your knowledge of and proven experience with project/program management tools and requirements necessary to track multiple projects with shared resources (cost/schedule/performance tracking and reporting).

  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: : 1) Plan, organize and manage a comprehensive program for assigned avionics and support equipment efforts involving many widely ranging and varied components of equipment, logistics, maintenance, training, etc; 2) Knowledge of and proven experience with project/ program management tools and requirements necessary to track multiple projects with shared resources (cost/schedule/performance tracking and reporting); 3) Knowledge of the acquisition management process, practices, policies, regulations, and ability to compile necessary information and produce acquisition documentation per DoD/SECNAVINST 5000 relevant to program milestones and contract actions; 4) Manage multiple funding categories: Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDTE), Other Procurement, Navy (OPN3) and Operations & Maintenance, Navy (OMN) budget line items from multiple stakeholders; 5) Lead intercompetency teams executing complex projects; participate in program reviews and business discussions with personnel throughout the Navy; 6) Evaluate, review test results, technical documentation and recommend appropriate course of action; 7) Prepare presentation briefs, justifications, reclamas, and detailed reports to support the program for financial, budgetary, and economic status of assigned programs.
