About the Position: Serves as the Resource Management Technician in a Medical Treatment Facility, responsible forresource management, clerical work, and administrative support. Accomplishes general recordkeeping, reporting, maintains timecards, procurement, supply, travel, typing, filing, and othergeneral administrative work.

Duties

Monitors the status of funds and advises appropriate personnel of potential over or under execution of funds. Compares and reconciles project cost records, identifies and determines the reasons for deviations, and makes appropriate adjustments to bring records into agreement. Composes routine correspondence from brief notes, oral instructions or on the basis of precedents. Ensures that funds are available and that local purchase authority exists for each transaction.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Required to obtain necessary immunizations (i.e., Hepatitis B, annual influenza) unless exempted by a physician.
  • This position has a TDY or business travel requirement of 5% of the time to various locations. This may require travel on military aircraft, ships, and vehicles.
  • This position requires the incumbent to have tuberculosis testing.
  • This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
  • This position is subject to a pre-employment drug screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
