You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCE ASSISTANT (MILITARY) in the Manning/Admin Support Division (N11) of NVRECRUITNGCMD.

Duties

You will process actions and enter data into automated systems such as Navy Standard Integrated Personnel system (NSIPS), Salesforce and Navy Personnel and Pay (NP2). You will maintain residual service records. You will make perform complete review of records and other case documentation to ensure they are procedurally correct and documentation is sufficient and organized. You will prepare correspondence, reports and other documents in draft and final form.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Anticipating and meeting the needs of internal and external customers; 2) Utilizing automated systems and databases to process requests, enter and retrieve data, answer queries and prepare reports for military personnel actions; 3) Applying administrative functions to gather, consolidate, and evaluate information and recommend solutions; and 4) Advising personnel on procedures to ensure all required documentation is accurate and complete.
