You will serve as a Administrative/Technical Specialist (Logistics Team Lead) in the Ordnance Assessement - Logistics Branch (E22) of the CAD/PAD division (E2) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13 and GS-14. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $153,354).

Duties

You will be the CAD/PAD Logistics Team Lead, leading the work of team members to achieve CAD/PAD Logistics specific tasks, produce work products and services, and meet program and logistical goals. You will be accountable for outcomes and results, e.g., timely delivery of quality work products and services produced by the team. You will assist the team through knowledge and application of leadership and team building skills. You will use techniques such as group facilitation, coordination, coaching, problem solving, interpersonal communication, integration of work processes and products, obtaining resources and liaising with the supervisor.

  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: coordinating and evaluating CAD/PAD systems Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) requirements for the acquisition and sustainment of ordnance related or weapons products or services to meet logistical objectives for an ordnance program.
