You will serve as a OPERATOR & MAINTENANCE WORK LEADER in the MCMWTC Bridgeport Operations of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON.

Duties

You will coordinate all class A and B runs with requesting units or SWRFT Regional Coordinators. You will work as the liaison between operators and customers to insure proper utilization of assets. You will serve as a Motor Vehicle Operator operating all class A and below vehicles to include snow groomers, snowmobiles, three-ton trucks, buses, tractor trailers, vans, etc. You will assign, coordinate, and monitor work for all mechanics. You will oversee the dispatch sections as required, such as preparing and issuing trip tickets and recording daily record of dispatched vehicles/equipment.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • You will be required to possess and maintain a current valid class "A" United States driver's license with the Hazmat, Passenger, and Tanker endorsements.
  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
  • This is a Bargaining unit position.
