Incumbent serves as the primary technical expert for Performance Based Navigation (PBN) airspace projects performing multiple, varying, and complex assignments under minimal direction of a manager. The position is located within the ATO, Mission Support Services, Operations Support Group, Flight Procedures Team, in the Western Service Area.

Duties

Serves as the primary technical expert for Performance Based Navigation (PBN) airspace projects performing multiple, varying, and complex assignments under minimal direction of a manager. Applies experience and comprehensive technical knowledge of the NAS and NAS change processes, as well as an understanding of new technologies and methodologies to solve complex problems and develop improved technical processes or systems.

Requirements

US Citizenship is required.
Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level of FV-I/Level IV or the equivalent FG/GS-13 in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. The specialized experience includes: (1) Experience analyzing complex aeronautical data, which impact the NAS; and (2) Experience drafting and recommending changes to policies and procedures and developing reports.
