About the Position: Serves as U.S. Army Marketing and Engagement Brigade's (USAMEB) Program Manager and Brigade Chief of Staff. Incumbent is responsible for the Operations, Human Resource, Logistics, Information Management, and Resource Management activities / critical support functions.

Duties

Utilizes command policies to direct the day-to-day operations of staff and supervisors. Provides program oversight on staff matters in multiple functional areas (i.e. logistics, human resource, resource management, information management, administration, and operations). Resolves work related issues presented by subordinate supervisors, team leaders, or similar personnel. Serves as primary instructor in training command workforce on program requirements. Assesses the impact of proposed program changes to recommend appropriate command decisions and course of action. Collaborates with senior military and civilian officials to discuss current and future command needs. Disseminates policy decisions of the Commander to subordinate elements and appropriate staff agencies. Administer the Commands inspection program to ensure multi-faceted systems comply with regulatory guidance.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
