About the Position: The position is in the modern 2 Hopkins Plaza building in downtown Baltimore, Maryland and located near prestigious universities, and various cultural attractions. Our mission is to deliver public and military engineering services to strengthen our Nation's security, energize the economy, and reduce risks from disasters.

Duties

Prepares and set priorities, work schedules, monitors budgetary estimates, and justification to obtain program fiscal resources. Executes full range of administrative authorities to include effecting personnel actions, approving leave schedules, being the deciding official for disciplinary actions, determining training needs, and adhering to district policies. Ensures the efficient, effective, and timely execution of the program in accordance with the established objectives, schedules, and program funds. Oversees all phases of projects assuring integration and coordination of established time frames consistent with commitments, policy, and performance criteria. Conducts periodic program review and analysis progress and milestones. Identifies areas where slippage is occurring and determines required corrective action to bring project in line with established schedules.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license to operate motor vehicles in accomplishing assigned duties.
  • Duties require travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, upon entering the position and annually.
