You will serve as a FACILITY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST (PM PROGRAM) in the PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC. Appointment NTE 1 year, can be extended up to five years or can made permanent at management's discretion without further competition.

Duties

You will create Excel, Word spreadsheets and documents. You will assist with creating and updating records in MAXIMO. You will use computerized management systems for planning and estimating, record keeping and preventive maintenance. You will provide annual cost estimates for PM program for various supported commands.

Requirements

Qualifications

GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Must demonstrate use of computerized management systems for planning, estimating, and record keeping. 2) Must show experience dealing with dynamic asserts and their preventative maintenance this can include HVAC, VTE, Fire suppression systems, and mechanical doors. 3)Teaming with production to balance the workload of PMs coming out, and the grading of assets.4) Must demonstrate understanding of financial management, and CNIC responsibilities. 5) Understanding of running and maintaining process. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Creating and updating records in MAXIMO, Maximo Modules to apply trade background to the PM Program., 2) determining proper operation of HVAC, fire equipment, compressed air, hot water systems, DDC., 3) Creating Excel and Word spreadsheets/documents and other database tools., 4) planning and estimating, record keeping and scheduling as well as facilities inspection scheduling and record keeping. OR Have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree with a major study in engineering, industrial arts, property management, or business administration. OR Have successfully completed two full years of progressively higher graduate level education leading to a master's degree with a major study in engineering, industrial arts, property management, or business administration. OR Have successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled. OR Have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
