You will serve as a Training Services Coordinator in the Production Resources Training Division (Code 900T) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.

Duties

You will manage Acquistion and procurement of training services, supplies, and equipment for training operations and activities. You will provide oversight and management of facilities and equipment in support of the training mission. You will monitor facility conditions and refer issues requiring correction. You will provide cost estimates of damaged facilities and equipment, prepare correspondence and attend meetings as facilities representative. You will act as the training equipment point of contact and coordinator. You will determine and recommend requirements for the appropriate parts, tools, and operating instructions to support training equipment. You will determine the overhead cost estimates of new material and determine repair or modification requirement as an alternative to disposal of current equipment. You will assist suppliers, users, and repairers in investigating major equipment deficiencies and declaring items that are no longer economically repairable.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card to make official government purchases for goods and services.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector coordinating the acquisition and disposal of training supplies and services, including providing facility, logistical, or financial management support to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of a training resource program. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

or

3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a doctoral degree.

or

LL.M., if related
