About the Position: This position serves as a Procurement Technician (Office Automation) for the Mission & Installation Contracting Command. Enterprise & Installation Operations, Office of the Director, Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas.

Duties

Generates, prepares, controls, reviews recurring error reports. Compiles and distributes reports on program metrics, goals, and contracting performance criteria to supervisor and management officials for review and comment. Prepares, verifies, abstracts, controls, procurement documents, files, reports, or records. Forwards all RPAs ensuring completeness, accuracy, and attachment of appropriate documents (i.e., job descriptions, agreement forms, etc.), including Gatekeeper documentation. Prepares Purchase Requisitions, requesting funds thru the General Fund Enterprise Business Systems (GFEBS). Provides management reports on the status of various contracting metric information, and the input of a range of standard information or adjustments of various contract automated data base systems associated with a specific procurement function.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Temporary Travel Duty (TDY) of up to 5% may be required.
  • Must be a certified typist, able to type 40 Words Per Minute (WPM).
  • This position requires submission of Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, upon entering the position and annually thereafter.
