About the Position: Serves as a Supervisory Deputy Product Lead (PL) for an assigned Program Executive Office (PEO). As the assigned responsible management official, provides overall direction and guidance for the development, acquisition, testing, product improvements, fielding, and sustainment of the project. This is a pay banded position. The NH-04 encompasses grades 14 and 15 on the General Schedule.

Duties

Serve as supervisor for Deputy Product Lead, for International Program Office. Leads and coordinates the combined efforts of the Army industrial team in expediting assigned program responsibilities. Directs other AMC, DA, and DoD activities supporting the systems to assure proper balance consistent with requirements and available resources. Serves as advisor to officials with broader and higher responsibilities on status of project, progress made, projected future plans, and problems. Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, setting priorities and scheduling completion, assigns work to subordinates based on priorities.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 50% of the time.
  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one-year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
  • Selectee may be required to execute a mobility agreement as a condition of employment.
  • This position is a Critical Acquisition Position. Selectee must execute a written tenure agreement to remain in Federal service in the position for at least three years.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Program Management Certification within 48 months of entrance on duty.
  • This is a Critical Acquisition Position. 4 years of acquisition experience are required.
  • Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I Confidential Financial Disclosure Reports) upon entering the position and annually and thereafter.
