You will serve as a LEAD MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the PROTOTYPING, INSTRUMENTATION, EXPERIMENTATION DEPARTMENT (PIE), AIRCRAFT INSTRUMENTATION DIVISION of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Duties

You will be responsible to manage projects, define requirements, manage the schedule, budget, system design, and writing all applicable documentation. You will advise team personnel and leadership the most efficient and technically sound approach in satisfying the technical requirements of data acquisition projects. You will work with project branches to understand the requirements for current and future flight test programs. You will develop user guides and train project engineers how to use new equipment. You will perform research and development necessary to provide complex, advanced instrumentation hardware for use in Naval Aircraft flight test operations. You will represent the ASG team and attend high level meetings with other organizations to discuss instrumentation requirements as an instrumentation subject matter expert. You will review, evaluate and document other organization’s design concepts, approaches and implementation based on detailed knowledge and experience. You will lead project planning and hold design review meetings with project sponsors, contractor personnel and other government agencies.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Execution of ASG management processes and operations; 2) Managing many concurrent projects, demonstrating the ability to set priorities, and meeting project deadlines with shifting schedules; 3) Knowledge of aircraft instrumentation hardware testing, configuration, and troubleshooting; 4) Project management skills, flight test instrumentation, written and verbal communication, and leadership.
