About the Position: This Engineering Technician (Mechanical) position is located in Millington, TN. Incumbent works under the supervision of the Chief, Facilities Management Division, US Army Corps of Engineers Logistics Activity.

Duties

Determine maintenance requirements for facilities. Develop criteria from guidelines and policies to ensure projects comply with statutory, regulatory, contract, and other user requirements. Provide subject matter experience for the execution of engineering policies in connection with maintenance of building systems, such as HVAC, lighting, electrical. Conduct meetings with senior officials and contract personnel to resolve deficiencies. Recommend corrective actions necessary to bring work into compliance with contract provisions.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
