You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Specialist in the Technical and Logistics Support Directorate, Program Management Division of CENINFOWARTRA PENSACOLA FL.

Duties

You will provide logistical support for training systems and assist with the acquisition process for training technologies. You will coordinate technical support and assist during equipment installations, modifications, alterations, upgrades, removals, and disposals. You will conduct inspection of classrooms and labs to assess material condition and identify required corrective maintenance. You will prepare annual budget submissions for Life Cycle support, consumables, facility upgrades/repairs, repair parts, technical assistance. You will provide cradle-to-grave Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and ensure operation of a continuous, streamlined acquisition process. You will assign work to subordinates, evaluate performance, interview candidates for positions, identify training needs and resolve complaints.

  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Occasional work at training facilities, laboratories and similar environments may involve exposure to safety hazards such as high voltage electricity, moving mechanical components or toxic chemicals.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing plans for training equipment logistical support to include facilities, and IT hardware architecture; 2) Preparing budget submissions for training equipment, associated parts, technical assistance, and travel; 3) Applying knowledge of federal acquisition processes to assist in procuring instructional equipment and systems; and 4) Identifying and maintaining life cycle support plans for assigned systems.
