The primary purpose of this position is to manage the processes and personnel managing incoming and outgoing tasks, correspondence and actitivities from a variety of sources, such as DoD, AF, MAJCOM, NAF, Wing and various government agencies.

Duties

-Manages and executes the Wing Workflow Program. Applies analytical ability for identifying, gathering synthesiazing and fulfilling the Wing's operational tracking and reporting requirements to HHQ. The incumbent will receive and provide feedback to Division Chief or Director on issues and topics which would be appropriate for submission to MACJOM and /or NAF. -Represents 688 CW with a variety of MAJCOM and NAF personnel. This position is responsible for ensuring in near real-time the tracking and understanding of Wing assets engaged in operational missions in support of HHQ taskings/orders. In the conduct of this position's duties, the incumbent is responsible for highlighting operational issues to Division Chief for visibility and/or action. -Prepares written correspondence and other documentation. The position will require good oral and written communication skills in order to convey a variety of operational and support issues impacting Wing missions. The incumbent will be required to draw upon technical and operational experience in order to author point papers, emails and presentations on behalf of Division or Directorate leadership.

Qualifications

This is a GG-12 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-12 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-12 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job. In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: knowledge of and ability to apply a wide range of principles, theories, and process management with a high degree of resourcefulness, ingenuity, and inventiveness of studies, investigations, and assignments. Knowledge of organizational analysis techniques and procedures (i.e., mission and function analysis, concept plan development, organizational design/structuring). Knowledge of personnel policies, procedures, and guidelines including statutory, executive order, regulations, instructions, and concepts as the relate to planning and accomplishment of mission objectives. Knowledge of methods and techniques of fact finding, analysis, resolution of complex problems and the development of concrete action plans to resolve problems. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1. Must possess knowledge of Joint and Air Force Information Operations (IO), Influence Operations (IFsO), and Cyber Warfare Operations (Cy WO) at the tactical and operational levels of war required to meet Air Combat Command (ACC) taskings. 2. Must possess working knowledge of federal organizations, agencies, and DoD, involved with and responsible for Cyber policy formulation and implementation as it applies to USAF Cyber missions. 3. Must possess working knowledge of intelligence support of Cyber operations to facilitate strategic planning, budgeting, manning and implementation of the Wing's operational mission. 4. Must possess ability to effectively organize and analyze information; produce reports, positions papers, and briefings that are responsive to the specific needs of commanders and senior management officials; present clear and concise findings; resolve conflicts based on mature judgment, operational experience, and recognized professional standing; and effectively advocates for a position. 5. Must possess the ability to apply skill, judgement, resourcefulness, and originality to foresee the impact of changing technology and in applying analytical and evaluative techniques to identify, investigate and resolve complex issues or problems. 6. Must possess working knowledge of security procedures to maintain control of classified material. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT CONT'D: 1. Position is designated special-sensitive and incumbent must be able to obtain and retain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) to fully perfom the duties and responsibilities of the position. A non-disclosure agreement must be signed. 2. Drug Testing: This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Testing Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
