Qualifications

NOTE:  You must meet qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement. If you are applying for a grade level higher than your current grade, you must have education and experience as described below to qualify for this position: To qualify for the GS-7 level, you must meet one of the following requirements: completion of all requirements for a bachelor’s degree and completion of one period of Intern work experience equivalent to at least the GS-5 level; OR completion of four academic years of pre-professional study* and completion of one period of Intern work experience equivalent to at least the GS-5 level. *Pre-professional study is academic study, credentialing, or training beyond the post-baccalaureate level that prepares an individual to practice a specific profession (e.g., Juris Doctor, Master of Science in Social Work, or Doctor of Pharmacy). NOTE: One period of Intern work experience is the equivalent of two months (320 hours).
