This position is located at Department of Housing and Urban Development OIG -Office of Evaluation. As a Management and Program Analyst, you will work on a team to conduct complex evaluations/inspections (evaluations) of HUD programs.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. To be qualified for this position at the GS-13 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level. This experience is defined as: - Planning and conducting evaluations, performance audits, or similar assessments of programs; AND - Designing the methodology and scope of evaluations, performance audits, or similar assessments of programs; AND - Applying analytical techniques to determine compliance with requirements, effectives, efficiency; or identify fraud, waste, and abuse; AND - Leading meetings with program personnel and managers to present findings, explain the significance of conclusions, justify recommendations and answer questions about work conducted; AND - Writing reports or portions of reports. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12level for 52 weeks. Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
