You will serve as a SUPERVISORY COMMAND SEXUAL ASSAULT PREVENTION AND RESPONSE in the US MARINE CORPS of MARFORRES NOLA.

Duties

You will perform administrative and technical supervisory duties to include work planning, assignments, training, discipline and leave. You will assign work; establish performance standards, objectives and conducts performance evaluation of subordinates. Provide guidance, information and training on performance and administrative matters. You will plan, organize, coordinate and manage the SAPR Program to ensure an integrated and responsive program. You will provide guidance on program implementation; monitor and evaluate compliance with policy impacting the SAPR Program, and assists in the development, implementation and oversight of command program guidance. You will maintain and implement the SAPR budget; formulate, administer and monitor the operating and capital budget for SAPR Program. You will monitor day-to-day operations and reporting requirements throughout the command; responsible for developing presentations related to the SAPR program You will conduct assessment to ensure consistency and effectiveness of the SAPR Program and victim care system. You will write, establish and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and SAPR Order. You will analyze, compile usage data, develop monthly/quarterly/annual report. prepares info papers, provides briefs and consolidates responses.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Sexual Assault Advocate Certification Program (D-SAACP) in accordance with DoDI 6495.03.
  • You must be able to obtain and maintain access tp Catch a Serial Offender (CATCH) Program, Defense Sexual Assault Incident Database (DSAID).
  • This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final SECRET security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Implementing the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) Program; overseeing and coordinating a Sexual Assault Prevention and Response program; supporting programs to ensure services and collaboration of stakeholders; monitoring compliance with policies impacting the SAPR program. Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must possess
  • Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position OR
  • Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field OR
  • Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
