About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the US Army Cyber Command ACOFS, G2, G2X Branch located in Fort Eisenhower, GA.

Duties

Conducts mission management, coordination, deconfliction, and synchronization of all signature management activities. Activities include due diligence (DD), physical operations (PHYSOPS), technical operations (TECHOPS), training requirements, and contract management support specific to signature management in the cyber domain. Ensures leadership is kept fully apprised of key issues, significant developments, and any other issues of importance which may positively or negatively affect the working relationship between the Army, DoD, and other government agencies. Closely coordinates all exchanges of information to ensure each agency's equities are fully understood and appropriately protected by all concerned. Develops and integrates ARCYBER policy considerations into signature management planning and mission priorities to ensure accomplishment of signature management objectives. Serves as an authority in signature management policies, procedures, doctrine, and operations. Coordinates, monitors, and directs significant issues which impact ARCYBER, or which have direct Army and DoD leadership interest.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Two year trial period may be required.
  • In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS-SCI).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain access to NSA and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) accredited facilities and networks. [Military Affairs Desk Officer (MADO) Security In-Processing (SIP) process.]
  • Shift work, irregular hours of duty, and/or extended duty may be required.

This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.
