About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the U.S. Army Cyber Command, Fort Eisenhower, GA. This position will be filled on a permanent basis.

Duties

Relocation costs may be paid if the selecting official determines the relocation is in the best interests of the government. Analyze potential impacts of decisions within Joint Capability Integration and Development System and provides Cyber Survivability Endorsement to facilitate advancement of a capabilities development programs. Perform feasibility reviews and informs specific aspects of force modernization, mission analysis, system compatibility requirements, and fiscal resources to optimize ARCYBER mission effectiveness. Actively enables ARCYBER?s contributions to the Army Requirements Oversight Council and identified ARCYBER equities for staffing with senior leaders for information, engagement, and/or decision. Monitor and analyze capabilities development and requirements decisions for ARCYBER impacts or equities and facilitates the command?s response.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain TOP SECRET security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information.
  • Must undergo and successfully complete an initial and periodic Counter-Intelligence Polygraph (CI Poly) examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI).
  • Must pass an initial and periodic urinalysis screening for illegal drug use.
  • Temporary duty travel may be required approximately 10% of the time.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one-year specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by analyzing information in the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development (JCIDS) process (with emphasis on the Army's interpretation); and Army Capabilities Integration and Development System (ACIDS) process to facilitate decision-making; utilizing the Army Planning, Program, Budgeting and Execution process to support operational capabilities' resourcing; analyzing and assessing capabilities' requirements document to provide feedback, recommendations and determine efficiency/effectiveness; coordinating high-level review sessions and muti-organizational actions to resolve issues, provide guidance, obtain data, and facilitate decision-making. This position is in the Professional Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure.
