You will serve as a Electrician Supervisor I in the Electrician Foreman, Production Department, Electrical and Electronics Group of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR.

Duties

You will supervise subordinates qualified to install, remove, maintain and repair services for nuclear ships, submarines, refueling and defueling complexes, and shops and codes requiring electrical power and communication systems support services. You will determine training and re-qualification schedules and scheduling subordinates to attend required training to maintain critical nuclear qualifications. You will observe work in progress to anticipate and resolve problems and assure use of appropriate work practices. You will establish training requirements for subordinates work qualifications and certifications are maintained.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
