About the Position: Provides SDDC with based information for making decisions on the management, administration, and oversight for contract management. Provides accurate interpretation and guidance concerning changes in the regulations and procedures. Assists in formulating and adapting directives from higher authority with the ability to analyze, recognize and anticipate problem areas. Provides assistance to managers and supervisors in facilitating contract management and responsibilities.

Duties

Assists Contracting Officer's Representatives with the Surveillance and Performance Monitoring Tool and associated issues. Serves as a Management and Program Analyst responsible for coordinating, implementing, and monitoring the contract compliance program and surveillance systems for support of Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) contracts. Assists in preparing or editing of documents to ensure accuracy, adequacy, and compliance with acquisition policies and regulations, and conformance with industry practice to the extent consistent with Government. Manages the Contracting Office?s Representative (COR) Program. Performs qualitative and quantitative research and applies data collection techniques to identify data trends in order to recommend changes. Collects, analyzes, and evaluates contract data for all SDDC contracts.

Requirements

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
  • Must be willing and able to travel on military and/or commercial aircraft.
