You will serve as a Supervisory Program Coordinator for the Target Analysis Cell within the Operations Division of a major Department of Defense (DoD) Program office within NAVY SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY.

Duties

You will formulate, develop, establish and implement analytical processes for the Program Office. You will oversee the formulation, development and establishment of analytical and targeting strategies based on DoD, Joint and National requirements. You will participate in senior-level, operationally oriented meetings as an authoritative representative of the Program Office management and the Department of Defense You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates and adjust short-term priorities and prepare schedules for completion of work. You will improve production or quality of work directed; and develops performance standards.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-14) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as the following; Researching and documenting results as a technical lead analyst researcher. Presenting analytic research to advise current project initiatives and future investments. Monitoring and collecting data on capability development and makes recommendations for improvements. Identifying partnership opportunities across the Department of Defense and other government agencies to expand and improve DTI's research and analytic capability and understanding of the mission environment. Recognizing problems, developing recommendations and solutions, overseeing corrections within assigned specialty, and working effectively in a team environment.
