This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the Certain Competitive Service / Modified Direct Hire Authority. Duties

You will serve as a team leader who works with team members to successfully complete specific tasks, produce work products and services, and meet program objectives. You will lead the team in identifying, distributing, and balancing the workload and tasks among employees to accommodate the work flow and team members’ skill levels and technical specializations. You will develop new interpretations and procedures, which extend existing procedures and may result in precedents for others to follow.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• This position has been designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position and as a condition of employment incumbents are required to comply with the DON Cyber IT/CSWF Program requirements.
• Must earn and maintain appropriate credentials from the Cyber IT/CSWF Qualification Matrix associated with the specialty area and level commensurate with the scope of major assigned duties for the position to which you are assigned.
• Must participate in a continuous learning program. A minimum of 40 hours of Cyber IT/CSWF related continuous learning annually documented in a current individual development plan signed by both the employee and supervisor.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-04/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: I have one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector at the next lower grade level (DS-04/GS-12) demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: 1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. 2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. 3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. In addition, the following Specialized Experience must be demonstrated: 1) Integrates expertise with practical knowledge of the mission, objectives, and operations. 2) Manages of all products and services that the position will be responsible for (Network Administration). 3) Delegates authority and personal judgement to lead the administration of the various network environments supported by DNA without the need for approval for standard technical recommendations.
