You will serve as a Supply Technician (Office Automation) in the Financial Management/Logistics Division (N18) in the Administration Department (N1), of TNG AIR WING SIX.

Duties

You will control, monitor and oversee all supply fund expenditures and property inventory You will perform a wide variety of assignments related to maintaining property accounts and records, completing transactions, providing customer assistance, screening reference files, conducting data searches and distributing output files. You will prepare property survey requests, conducts research on requested items checking for accuracy and validity. You will determine when to requisition and the quantities required based on directed input from customers and usage patterns and trends. You will use word processing software to develop a variety of correspondence/documents and spreadsheet software to develop standard and statistical reports and other supply information. You will provide logistics and supply support for the flight training squadron and its varied customers, both internal and external.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card to make official government purchases for goods and services.
  • This position requires the ability to lift/carry 40 pounds.

Qualifications

This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing supply system databases to track requisitions, inventory, equipment availability, and develop reports in order to make recommendations for supply services or inventory operations. Education

In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Successful completion of 4 years above high school level;

OR

A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
