About the Position: Serves as a Management Analyst in the Engineering and Plans Division, Facilities and Logistics Directorate, HQ IMCOM at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

Duties

Serve as a Management Analyst in a command headquarters performing general functions relating to researching, developing and evaluating assigned or designated missions or functions. Provides technical guidance and advise on most appropriate method or procedure of analysis and evaluation to accomplish command missions. Provides management new information and advice concerning various course of action in resolving complex problems. Plans, evaluates, coordinates, and integrates activities with other staff and functions. Reviews and analyzes data to identify trends, interrelationships and problems, and to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret security investigation.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-???????12).
