You will serve as a Supply Technician in the Department of Energy (Naval Reactors) of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. #LI-NAVYSUPWSS

Duties

You will have knowledge of the EBS (Enterprise Business System) technical module to manage stock files, create requisition documents, receipt of material, managing classified address listings, and assigning technical manual stock numbers. You will have knowledge of SECNAV INSTRUCTION 5510.36 regulations to ensure security measures are followed in the handling of classified material. You will have knowledge of NAVSEA Procedure G-1 for maintaining and distributing technical manuals in the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program. You will have knowledge of inventory management to maintain and manage a museum of all technical manuals and CDs to support the Nuclear Propulsion Program. You will have knowledge on how to research and solve discrepancies which involve planning, procuring, requisitioning, shipping, and tracking of classified material.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Supply Technician experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing supply support work that requires the application of thorough knowledge of governing supply regulations, policies, procedures, and Enterprise Business System (EBS) to receive, requisition, ship, and track classified Nuclear Propulsion technical manuals and conduct extensive and exhaustive searches for related information. Examples of specialized experience may include: 1) Ensuring technical manuals are processed in EBS and shipped to meet required delivery dates with 100% accuracy. 2) Assisting with the validation of customer technical manual requirements to ensure proper shipboard management. 3) Conducting proper marking, safeguarding, dissemination, transportation, storage, and destruction of classified information.
