You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Chief of Naval Air Training Center (CNATRA) of CNATRA.

Duties

You will monitor assigned aircraft/flight training simulators and associated equipment status and data. You will act as Chief of Naval Air Training Center's point of contact for all aspects of aircraft/flight training simulator systems. You will develop briefs for presentations to managers and officials concerning issues and problems. You will coordinate with NAVAIR and PMA (205/273) to develop, maintain and update simulator master plans. You will represent Chief of Naval Air Training Center (CNATRA) at meetings to discuss pending maintenance contractual requirements. You will review and analyzes daily, monthly and annual status reports, maintenance records and contractor reports covering all aspects of simulator maintenance and utilization. You will be a liaisons with Training Air Wings and CNATRA Detachment OIC/AOIC and other CNATRA Departments as necessary to validate data, identify problems, deficiencies, user capabilities and needs. You will conduct site visits and performance reviews to ensure that facilities and devices are available and maintained in a proper, efficient, and safe manner.

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing information and formulating recommendations to develop and implement training plans (e.g. aircraft/flight training simulator, simulation systems etc…) for the effectiveness of an aviation program.
