You will serve as a SECURITY COOPERATION TRAINING PROGRAM MANAGER in the SECURITY COOPERATION DIVISION of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.

Duties

You will serve as a program manager for all Security Cooperation training matters. You will provide management oversight, technical advice and direction for planning international Security Cooperation training. Your programs of oversight will include a combination of International Military Education and Training (IMET) and other assigned security cooperation programs. You will manage planning, programming, and development of Security Cooperation training. You will prepare congressional testimony, executive summaries, and reports related to Security Cooperation training. You will ensure U.S. Security Cooperation training program is congruent with recipient country's military plans.

Requirements

Qualifications

GS-13 Level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying expert knowledge of analytical and evaluation methods and techniques to manage the Security Cooperation Organization (SCO) training program for an organization; 2) Interpreting political, military, and economic environment to evaluate U.S. and host-country strategic Security Cooperation intentions, desires, needs; 3) Conducting studies using analytical and evaluation methods and techniques to measure/evaluate Security Cooperation program accomplishments; 4) Evaluating training program contributions in attainment of Campaign Plan/Theater Engagement Plan/Country Engagement Plan end states and objectives; and 5) Applying knowledge of planning, programming, and budgeting regulations, guidelines and processes. GS-12 Level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting with evaluation methods and techniques to administer the Security Cooperation Organization (SCO) training program for an organization; 2) Researching political, military, and economic environments to evaluate strategic plans; 3) Evaluating Security Cooperation program accomplishments through analytical studies; and 4. Assisting with completing planning, programming, budgeting regulations, guidelines, and processes for programs.
