Duties

Responsible for supporting the Service Acquisition process in its entirety from the point of contract requirement to the point of contract award. Provides oversight of logistical operations in assigned areas of responsibility in the execution of supply/maintenance operations. Participates in planning, managing, integration, and execution of logistics operations associated with the receipt, storage, inspection, accountability, repair, maintenance, handoff and reconstitution of assigned world-wide Army Prepositioned Stocks. Participates in the contract source selection process as an APS operations subject matter expert.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Temporary duty travel of 10% may be required.
  • Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includesproviding oversight of logistical operations in assigned areas of responsibility in the execution of supply/maintenance operations; developing/coordinating primary contract documents; participating in the planning, managing, integration, and execution of logistics operations associated with the repair, maintenance, handoff and reconstitution of assigned world-wide Army Prepositioned Stocks (APS) and reviewing and updating APS budget submissions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Organizational AwarenessProblem SolvingTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
