The OIG's IT Division offers advanced and entry-level opportunities to Software Application Developers, Cloud and Network Engineers, Security Specialists, Project Managers and Customer Support Technicians. This posting is to fill a position on the Software Development team, providing application support for OIG.

Duties

As an IT Specialist ( System Analysis) at the GS-2210-13 you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

Requirements

Qualifications

Basic Requirement Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. Specialized Experience GS-13: To qualify for this position at the GS-2210-13 grade level, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level obtained in the federal government. (Specialized experience is paid or unpaid experience that has equipped you with the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the position's duties successfully). Examples of specialized experience include such duties as: Conducting Analytics for large amounts of data using eDiscovery tools such as Relativity, Everlaw, and Casepoint to manage document reviews. Configuring e-mail threading to support eDiscovery Projects. Creating processing jobs, workspaces, and user account management using software such as Relativity, EnCase, and CaseMap. Training users on eDiscovery reviews and eDiscovery applications such as, but not limited to, Relativity and CaseMap. Performing server security maintenance and SQL queries in Relativity, EnCase, and/or CaseMap to set up maintenance tasks and query data in SQL tables. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade level (or equivalent) by the closing date of this announcement. This vacancy may be used to fill other similar and/or comparable positions throughout the agency within the stated duty station.
