You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the BUSINESS MANAGEMENT OFFICE of NAVAL FAC ENGINEERING CMD WASH.

Duties

You will use qualitative or quantitative techniques for analyzing and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, or productivity of administrative or technical programs. You will develop and maintain metrics to characterize various performance measures of a workforce. You will conduct process analysis or flow analysis using advanced process improvement techniques (e.g., value stream mapping, simulations) to investigate organizational operations or identify improvements. You will prepare documents to communicate the results of studies or analyses to diverse audiences.

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.

Qualifications

GS-12 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Using management principles, organizational theory, and standardized administrative practices to conduct studies of clerical work processes to recommend solutions to problems; 2) Applying fact-finding and investigative techniques to gather factual evidence of administrative waste and abuse, or compliance with regulations; 3) Conducting position management studies of clerical, trades, technician, and administrative support positions within a single organizational component; 4) Communicating both orally and in writing on a professional level. GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: 1) Make recommendations for improvement in the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations; 2) Assist in the coordination of manpower management programs and actions; and 3) Establish criteria to measure the attainment of program and organizational goals.
