About the Position: Serves as an Equal Employment Opportunity Specialist at US Army Installation Management Command, US Army Garrison, White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico.

Duties

Assists with research directives to determine the need for supplemental guidance to include directives dealing with EEO programs. Analyzes a wide complex variety of interrelated employment and personnel related issues to advise senior leaders. Conducts statistical analyses of personnel management elements to determine whether barriers to equality exist/ Oversees and monitors the EEO complaints processing system and Special Emphasis Programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Assists with the planning, implementing and evaluating of the EEO complaints program, including informal counseling, investigation and adjudication. Recommending affirmative action goals/objectives that comply with guidance/directives. Coordinating, developing and conducting EEO-related training and briefings to serviced customers' senior leadership.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance for the duration of employment.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
