About the Position: Serves as Senior Operations Officer/Lead/Program Manager for complex and critical high resolution three-dimensional (HR3D) geospatial data collection/processing/dissemination program. Management will select at the GS-13 grade level. This recruitment provides promotion opportunity to the target grade of GS-14 position without further competition when selectee is eligible and recommended by management.

Duties

Formulates and builds state-of-the-art deployment and fielding schedules to handle the collection and integration of imagery intelligence, geospatial data, tactical applications Interprets, considers and applies trends of transformative technological developments to address user requirements Initiates, forms, follows, and tracks a multitude of processes affiliated with the collection cycle for CONUS/OCONUS collections Maintains currency in the state-of-the-art of wide area high altitude airborne mapping industry developments through technical literature review, formal training, and professional interactions Leads study groups and/or steering committees to identify and implement recommendations to improve overall collection functions, operations, and performance.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Requirement to lift up to 40 lbs. in the regular performance of duties
  • This position requires a drug test.
  • This position requires the employee to obtain and maintain a top-secret security clearance.
