The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Directorate for Mission Integration (MI) creates a consistent and holistic view of intelligence from collection to analysis and serves as the Director of National Intelligence's (DNI) principal advisor on all aspects of intelligence. MI integrates mission capabilities, informs enterprise resource and policy decisions, and ensures the delivery of timely, objective, accurate, and relevant intelligence.

Duties

Major Duties and Responsibilities: ODNI established the Office of Economic Security and Emerging Technologies (OESET) in response to increasing demand for improved intelligence on the application of disruptive technologies and related global supply chains. Improved IC posture in this area is critical to enabling the whole-of-government response that maintains United States' economic and technological competitive advantage and ensures U.S. access to goods and services central to its national security.

Mandatory Requirements: Demonstrated understanding of IC resource processes, prioritization processes, and mission management principles. Demonstrated Ability to develop path-breaking initiatives; solve tough problems; lead projects to achieve common goals; and experience in driving interagency progress. Demonstrated ability to focus targeting and collection on coordinated intelligence gaps. Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to think strategically; meet strategic goals and objectives; adapt views and approaches as needed; develop and coordinate recommendations leading to lasting change; and evaluate outcomes against requirements, goals and objectives. Demonstrated interpersonal skills and superior ability to work effectively in both independent and in a team or collaborative environment. Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to lead interagency working groups, build coalitions, and consider alternatives. Demonstrated Oral and written communication skills, including ability to draft and edit written reports of varying length and complexity and to communicate effectively with audiences of varying seniority and expertise. Desired Requirements: Experience in coordinating planning, programming and budgeting activities, to include leading budget justification activities, planning resource strategies, and preparing resource analytic papers, background papers, talking points, and/or other products to support senior leadership in making informed programmatic decisions. Experience representing the IC in engagements with senior government officials. Experience in the economic security or emerging technology mission areas. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience as determined by mission specialty area.
