You will serve as a Painter Supervisor I in the Paint Shop (71A), Waterfront Services Division (TRF-340) Repair Department (TRF-300) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.

Duties

You will provide technical directions over work efforts of subordinate to ensure efficient and effective accomplishment of Shop operations. You will support outfitting of the Shop. You will provide administrative supervision/management over shop operations and promote EEO awareness. You will plan weekly work schedules to be accomplished by shop subordinates in accordance with program directives and requirements.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: 1) Serves as a Painter Supervisor responsible for planning, training, coordinating, inspecting, and directing Paint Shop operations. 2) Provides technical direction over work efforts of subordinates to ensure efficient and effective accomplishment of shop operations. 3) Assigns and explains work or tasks to be performed by subordinates. 5) Reviews work while in progress to ensure work is completed accurately and on time with minimum cost. 6) Performs written performance appraisals and initiates recommendations for promotions and/or determines training needs of subordinates.
