About the Position: This position is located at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Logistics, Purchasing in El Paso, TX.

Duties

Serve as the primary ordering official responsible for managing vendor orders. Review annual budget estimates submitted for medical supplies. Advise clinical departments on medical/surgical costs for budgeting and supply purposes. Monitor obligations and expenditures throughout the budget year. Execute daily cycle count procedures to identify inventory discrepancies. Provide direct on-site total customer logistics support to the hospital, outlying Clinics, and Fort Bliss Units.

OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as supply chain management or logistics. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages.
