Duties

Open and unpack cartons of materials. Move or use hand truck to move various items requiring delivery or storage. Police assigned area. Collect and dispose of trash and debris, cut grass, pull weeds, water grass and flower beds. spread mulch and rake leaves. Shovel snow and put down salt. Wash and wax vehicles. Sweep, vacuum, mop, scrub, and wax floors. Dust and polish furniture. Empty trash.

• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Must successfully complete initial safety training within the first ninety (90) days of employment,
• Must attend Team Member Orientation within the first thirty (30) days of employment.
• This is a flexible position. Flexible positions have no guaranteed hours. A flexible employee serves in a continuing position on a scheduled or as needed basis.
• Successful completion of health assessment.
• Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds and occasionally 45 pounds.
• Must be able to actively bend, stoop, stand, reach, and work in awkward positions.

Qualifications

1. Three (3) months of laboring experience required. 2. Must have the ability to use, control and clean tools and power equipment used, and ability to follow oral and/or written instructions involving duties with several distinct tasks or steps without constant supervision of each task assigned. Best Qualified Criteria: Must have twelve (12) months experience as a laborer or similiar position. **Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications and best qualifying criteria will be referred to the selecting official first. **
